It would be terrific if we all had long eyelashes, but we don’t. Everyone knows someone who has great looking eyelashes, and if you don’t, boy does it make you jealous! Fact is, everybody is different, and if you lose your eyelashes either through pulling them, illness or you singe them off, then you are likely to want to find an eyelash grower that works quickly.
Firstly, a little about eyelash loss. Your eyelashes will fall out regularly, just as the hair on your head. Like your head hair, eyelashes will replace themselves over four to eight weeks (or longer if they have suffered a lot of damage). If you wear contact lenses eyelash loss will usually be greater. As people age, this process slows considerably and your eyelashes will never be as full as they were in your younger days.
Other things that affect your eyelash growth apart from pulling them is rubbing, curling and cleaning. So take care of them and keep them healthy. Those who suffer from an under-performing thyroid gland are also likely to lose small clumps of eyelashes.
Moving on to finding an eyelash grower. There are one or two things you can do and the most convenient is probably to use a really good mascara that is designed to lengthen and thicken the lashes you have. However, such mascaras can be more difficult to remove and make even more eyelashes fall out. It is important therefore that greater care be taken when cleaning the eyes.
You could also use fake eyelashes but as these need to be glued into place along the eyelash line, when you take them off, there is a possibility that you may pull out your own eyelashes. You could try eyelash extensions. This is where individual lashes are glued next to your own. Eyelash extensions can be prohibitively expensive and, if your problem is habitual eyelash pulling or eye rubbing, then it may not solve the problem.
One idea is to use some type of eyelash serum to naturally enhance your own lashes. An eyelash serum will usually include Bimatoprost or Latanoprost. And of course, these are not so natural! They are safe to use providing you don’t try and speed up the effect by using too much. Applying the eyelash serum close to the root will see a difference in just two to four weeks on average. Although most people have no problems, if you do have a reaction, stop using and seek medical advice.
Above are just a few of the ways you can get those eyelashes you want. We tend to like an eyelash grower serum given they are reasonably priced, convenient and work well for most people. Find out more at our website at http://eyelashgrower.org.
